ABOUT

The Marlborough Stop will have a single platform serving southbound trams. The stop is located at the junction with Sackville Place on the east side of Marlborough Street and close to Abbey Street Lower junction. It will be conveniently located to provide interchange with the Luas Red Line at the Abbey Street Stop and bus services on Abbey Street Lower. The stop will serve the Abbey Theatre and facilitate access to O’Connell Street and Henry Street for south bound passengers.
What's Happening

OCTOBER & NOVEMBER WORKS UPDATE

The last piece of tram track to be installed on Marlborough is currently under construction at the junction with Cathal Brugha Street and will be completed within this time period.

The Contractor has commenced construction of the Marlborough Street tram stop and this is also planned for completion within this time period.

A series of footway upgrade works is continuing to be rolled out along both sides of Marlborough Street. Pedestrian access to businesses and premises will be accommodated during these works.

Furthermore, a series of carriageway works on Marlborough Street to upgrade road drainage network, lay ducting and strengthen road pavement will also be carried out.
